Froot is a conceptual company that produces an entirely paper based product created to hold citrus’ such as tangerines, limes, and lemons. The citrus market mainly packages the fruit in plastic netting. Plastic netting is obvisouly not ideal for the environment and that is where Froot comes in. With the help of the Industrial Technology Packaging department at Cal Poly, Han Wong, Fred Pastrana, and Hannah Kraus, all came up with the physical and digital designs that has now become Froot. The next pages hold our final dielines, final designs, and structural prototypes. With citrus in mind, we kept our visual and structural package designs in the same theme. The visual designs have citrus ideology around the package, while the structure has a modern and sleek design.
